Merit Stephanos

Merit Stephanos, singer and composer, studied at the Royal College of Music, Goldsmith College and Edinburgh University. Influenced by her German-Egyptian heritage, Merit draws on Arabic and Western classical contemporary influences in her music. Along with solo and freelance work, she performs with singer and oud player Abdul-Salam Kheir, early music duo Sambuca, the New London Chamber Choir, her soprano quartet Tongue Stuff and, most recently, in an Arab Jazz Band.
