London-based Troia Nova performs contemporary music informed by the traditions of Greece, Turkey and the Middle East. We usually use traditional, acoustic instruments but have been known to perform and record in other formats. The CD, Trilogia, is out now (for details and short clips please visit the Sounds page).The group also conducts original research in the fields in which its members work, and we welcome submission of original essays and research papers for publication on the website.
